ABOUT PADS

   PADS dog rescue centre is a well-loved and widely respected charity which has been a haven for homeless dogs in Perthshire for twenty three years!

   PADS was first formed in 1985 by a concerned group of people who wanted to provide proper care for the county's stray and unwanted dogs. The kennels at Forteviot in Perthshire were opened in March 1990. PADS is now one of the best known charities in the county - and more often than not Perthshire dog-walkers are very likely to meet a 'PADS dog' on their travels!

   The charity has rescued, cared for and rehomed thousands of unwanted, abused and abandoned dogs. These dogs are given a second chance thanks to PADS and go on to new loving, caring people like you, who will look after them for the rest of their lives.
